It is going to be a casting coup. Sources say Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has given his nod to be part of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s new film. Tentatively titled ‘Godfather’, the film will hit the floors soon.
Salman Khan will play a guest role in ‘Godfather’, which is the Telugu remake of the Malayalam blockbuster ‘Lucifer’. Mohan Raja is directing the movie. In the original version, Prithviraj Sukumaran had acted in the role, while Mohanlal was the hero. In the Telugu version, Chiranjeevi reprises Mohanlal’s character. Salman Khan might reprise Prithviraj’s role.
Salman Khan and Chiranjeevi’s family share friendship for a long time. When Ram Charan made his debut in Bollywood in the ‘Zanjeer’ remake, Salman Khan lent full support to Charan and even promoted the film.
But Salman Khan agreeing to be part of this movie is a big surprise. However, it will create hype around this project.
