Summary:

The movie is a period film that has five heroines alongside the male lead, yet has only three duets but three female solos opposite only one male solo, not to mention three nearly sans-vocal music bits. DeviSri on the whole did a commendable job. Heard exclusively, the songs might not catch up as much as they deserve. However, they might do some catching up as the movie reaches the audience, since most songs are situationally set and since the movie is not set in the current time too.

Tune/Interlude/BGM

bhavyamaina... (Duration: 3:06 minutes) (Rating: 4.5/5)
Srinivas starts off the song with a fitting modulation. The jatiswaram sounds like it has been rendered by a professional! The high-pitched aalaapana blends with the rest. Seetarama Sastry redefines the philosophical connotations behind the inseparability of bhaavam, raagam, and taaLam to the world in the short lyric at the start of this number. It's been long since a classical dance jati made it to commercial Telugu Cinema. DeviSri does a commendable job there with the help of raaga hindOLa. The use of jalatarang among other instruments is neat. Unfortunately, this number shall not catch up with audience for its classical setting and unsingability.
muvvalaa navvakalaa... (Duration: 4:50 minutes) (Rating: 4.5/5)
Balu takes off with a youthful voice, and Chitra joins him with her sweet voice again! Overall, it has an inherent sweetness due to their rendition. The simple duet has some beautiful bits such as "rEyikE rangulu poosaavE" from the veteran's pen. The tune is quite catchy, though it might remind a couple of other songs in bits and pieces, including cheppavE chirugaali... (okkaDu) and largely, of course,  the music from DeviSri's own nuvvostaananTE nEnoddanTaanaa..., both from the same producer. The interludes are creatively set with differently chosen orchestration.
kOyO kOyO... (Duration: 4:19 minutes) (Rating: 4.25/5)
Shaan renders this racy number (for the time it's set), appreciably, with a pronunciation that's good enough. The song, for everything else it has to offer, comes with an inspirational message that motivates to achieve goals at any cost. The line "Ori dEvuDO, elaagani oorukOkurO usoorani" sums it all up. The orchestra suits the time setting of this period film very well, and so does the tune. The lead stanza is more catchy than the rest of the song.
evarO chooDaali... (Duration: 4:10 minutes) (Rating: 3.75/5)
Chitra sounds too sweet and youth in this song too. She's just the same wonder that awed us all these years! A bit lower pitch might have sounded still better. This song seems to be a girl's solo rendition that establishes her characterization. The rhyming at the end of the lines (antyapraasa) is deft. The lead music, which is also the trailing music, sounds nice. The song seems to lose some hummable quality with its high pitch setting that does not seem necessary. A couple of lines in the middle of the stanzas remind of similarly placed lines in gunDellO EmundO... (manmathuDu).
Flute bit (Duration: 2:05 minutes) (Rating: 3.25/5)
Kiran, not a playback singer in fact but the flutist who played the music bit, has done a good job.   The tune mixes some song bits from the same movie, and has other orchestra that accompanies the flute suitably.
pallavikai... (Duration: 4:28 minutes) (Rating: 2.75/5)
Gopika Purnima does an okay job with the playback of this song. Rhyming and meaning in this simple lyric of a girl are just good. The varsham effect in the interlude seems to have not left DeviSri yet, but it sounds good anyway. This is just not as impressive as the rest of the songs in the album.
Rock 'n' Roll (Duration: 1:41 minutes) (Rating: 3.5/5)
The orchestra from kOyO kOyO... above and the Something something... number in nuvvostaananTE nEnoddanTaanaa continue to play the rock 'n' roll here. Some foot-tapping music that would catch up with audience slowly.
icchi pucchukunTE baagunTundi... (Duration: 4:17 minutes) (Rating: 4.0/5)
Tippu and Sumangali enrich this song with their enthusiastic vocals. The chorus add to the vigor. Rhyming stands notable in this song too. This simple duet even has neat wordplay. The differently set lines in the stanzas (based on raaga Sivaranjani) are quite catchy, catchier than the lead lines. The interludes are good.
evarO raavaali... (Duration: 2:28 minutes) (Rating: 3.5/5)
Sagar's voice is soft. Chitra is her usual. The short duet seems to mark joy due to a union or a minor victory. The song uses the same tune as the solo number evarO chooDaali... The interludes are just fine.
bharatavEdamuga... (Duration: 5:29 minutes) (Rating: 3.75/5)
Chitra sounds good in this emotional song backed by aptly set chorus. Her gamakaalu are commendable. This number, written as a praise on Lord Shiva, seems to have a thematic importance. The beat, and the tempo, change suitably as the song proceeds. The interludes are rich in orchestra. The tune is catchy only in the first couple of lines of the song.
