Get ready!... (Duration: 5:06 minutes) (Rating: 4.25/5)
Playback: Karthik seems to be becoming a good choice for youth films' theme/hero introduction songs. He does the job well, and the humming supplements his voice.
Lyric: The veteran is always "ready" to write for any situation and even as generations pass! The lyric is enthusiastic and youthful, and is laced all through with impressive rhyme, while telling how "ready" today's youth is for anything. The rhyme and expressions are all impressive and novel.
kotta chandamaama puTTinaTTu...konni colors nimpindi part is particularly impressive.
Tune/Interlude/BGM: The beat and humming in the interlude is impressive, with DeviSri's signature marked over it. The lead music and beat remind certain songs by Rahman. Parts of the tune and lyric remind of
bhoogOLamtO bantaaTa... (
Classmates).

ayyO ayyO ayyO daanayyaa!... (Duration: 4:30 minutes) (Rating: 3.75/5)
Playback: Priya has a rough but husky voice that suits the song. Franco is okay. Benny joins for the rap, with his own lyric.
Lyric:The lead dialogue lays the necessary foundation to the theme. A typical girls vs. boys lyric, with notable and novel rhyming at places, such as
ishq ainaa, risk ainaa..., and a lot more. This is one of the very good songs in this genre, with good points to support both sides of argument. The rap part doesn't seem necessary, but it's relevant to theme too.
Tune/Interlude/BGM: The tune is a rehash of the number
5 feet 8 inches... (
Jagadam) in parts, also by DeviSri. Orchestration for BGM and interludes is different.
mErE sajnaa! (TuTuTU TuTuTU TuTuTU)... (Duration: 4:16 minutes) (Rating: 4.25/5)
Playback: Kunal Ganjawala has a fitting modulation, and Shreya Ghosal has become as sweet as a native Telugu singer can get!
Lyric: The lyric has a reference to the
Hasini of
Bommarillu, since Genelia shares credit for both films. A typical duet with a simple lyric.
Tune/Interlude/BGM: The humming in the interlude is quite typical oft-repeated bit of DeviSri. The orchestration is also typical of DeviSri. The tune could have been fresher, but it's very catchy and good. The
Bommarillu (because of
Hasini connection?) and
Khadgam effect is visible even on the orchesrtration. It's interesting to note the following songs, all by DeviSri, all of them set to the same "metre" (not the same tune):
appuDO ippuDO eppuDO... (
Bommarillu),
akkaDO ikkaDO ekkaDO... (
Sontham),
kukukU kukukU kukukU... (
Oka Oorilo...), and also Mani Sarma's
ninnalaa monnalaa lEduraa... (
Chirunavvutho), and notice how the subtle difference comes into the tune for each song.

ninnE peLLaaDukuni raajaipOtaa!... (Duration: 5:22 minutes) (Rating: 3.75/5)
Playback: Ranjith is energetic and Kalpana joins him aptly too. Chorus joins for brief moments.
Lyric: A typical lyric with liberal mix of Hindi, but with a lot of neat expressions. This song apparently marks a marriage in the film.
Tune/Interlude/BGM: The tune, though not similar to either songs, reminds of
ninDu gOdaari kadaa ee prEma... (
Nuvvu Leka Nenu Lenu) and
chilakamma mukkuki... (
Gudumba Shankar), but has its roots in DeviSri's own
jagadEkaveeruDiki... (
Shankar Dada zindaabaad) for a similar situation. All said, this tune is catchy anyway and catches up in a few times after hearing it. The music at the end of the song is oft-repeated by the composer, but the beat at the end of the song is racy enough to match the theme.
naa pedavulu nuvvaitE nee navvulu nEnautaa!... (Duration: 3:59 minutes) (Rating: 3.25/5)
Playback: Sagar and Gopika Purnima fill in the sweetness that the mood of the song requires.
Lyric: For a typical duet, Seetarama Sastry comes up with a lyric in "Chandrabose's formula", but with new expressions and complementary pairs. The lyric goes about telling how both individuals in love be an integral part of a single entity, complementing each other.
divi taakE nicchena nEnaitE... digi vacchE neccheli nEnautaa! is an example of such novel rhyme and expression.
Tune/Interlude/BGM: The humming in the interlude sounds familiar. The tune changes its line length towards the ends of lines giving a good overall effect, though the tune itself isn't fresh. The orchestration is classy and impressive.
Om namastE bOlO... (Duration: 4:21 minutes) (Rating: 3.0/5)
Playback: Neeraj Sridhar has unclear pronunciation, much like Adnan Sami (in this lack of clarity) but is okay otherwise. Divya is adequate.
Lyric: With quite a liberal sprinkling of English words all over the lyric, Ramajogayya Sastry comes up with a catchy lyric. With defintions like "
any time muddu" for
ATM (in a "
Kiss Bank", a la
Swiss Bank).
Tune/Interlude/BGM: The tune, albeit racier, is a direct lift of
sattE yE goDavaa lEdu... (
Desamuduru), which itself is not an original composition! The BGM is good, and the orchestration is different.
