Another day, Balayya sent his resume to Bellamkonda Suresh, expecting a call from him for a movie chance.

But balayya will get a doubt and he goes to bathroom in Bellamkonda's house immediately and sees his resumes in the letroon.
He becomes angry and asks Bellamkonda why his resume is present in the letroon.

Observe Annamayya keertanas. You find Srungara, Bhakti and vairagya. He is not Rishi and never escaped from his family life. Besides he has two wives. Hence observe all these factors before casting cynical criticism. Nag is very good actor and really the best among his contemporaries.AIGS

Annamayya srungara kritis are epitome of his bhakti, they don't represent his personality in real life.

According to the research material available, annamayya had two wifes but they were not sisters and didn't die at the same time by falling on his lap. No need to skew the facts when you are producing a movie on a historic figure.

There is more focus on rakti than bhakti in the movie which I didn't appreciate.

Last but not least, you see more of Nagarjuna in the role than annamayya which I consider as a failure on his part. When NTR dons Krishna role you see Krishna on the screen but not NTR. Even though we can not expect that kind of performance from Nagarjuna, you know what I mean to say.

My criticism is not cynical because I don't have anything against Nagarjuna.

In every movie there will be some some creation some imagination otherwise it will be documentary. That is not only the case with Annamayya but also movies like Mayabazar ( Bala Rama does not have daughter called Sasirekha, Cleopatra ( Cleo patra's death is not as it was shown) Julies ceaser where the weakness of ceaser is not potryed. Sorry to say in most of the NTRs mvoies NTR will only be seen but not the role. When we talk of an actor we talk only compare with his contemporaries as the style of acting picturisation will be little bit contemporary. In case of Annamayya when he really was attracted to Almighty, only Bhaktirasa is potrayed. An actor needs guts and conviction to do Ninne pelladata and Annamayya in sucession that too at that age. He really did wonderful job that is why it was such a big hit.See it once again without any prefixed opinions. Every movie will have some flaws as that is human creation. No movie is an exception. Annamayya's climax is termed as one of the top ten climaxes of Indian cinema history. Once again i reiterate Annamayya is out and out family man and has not missed his family life that is why his sringara kirtanas are very sweet ( Emako Chigurutadharamula kasturi nindenu, Jagadapu thanuvula jajara ). Those who does not have any thing against Nag will be atleast neutral if not praising at least in case of Annamayya & Ramdoss as he did splendid job.

Alright, you want to defend your stand that Nagarjuna acted well in those movies and I am sticking to my stand that I didn't feel anything great about him in those movies.

Fair enough, no point in arguing on this topic.
