Great article. Felt very nostalgic. Really miss Sobhan Babu garu. He was a fine actor who maintained himself well. Always delivered good performances and stayed away from controversies.

Small correction. In the hindi version, the second lead (Jayasudha's role) was played by Nazneen, not Mumtaz. Nazneen was later famous for her role as Kunthi in Mahabharath.

Of course soban babu is a good actor, but

he has not done any help to our telugu industry,really i felt bad when my friend told about "Late Nirmalam".

Once he went to ravindra bharathi for a show,there he saw "nirmalama",No one has cared for her ,she herself has called for auto.

Soban has earned a lot in real estates and in an interview,he told that cine industry is a big nonse,that is the reason why he has not introduced his children in cine industry.

To TC.COM dont publish the article about suc kind of persons(sobhan babu,krishna,akkeneni,jaggaya etc.)tey may be good in their profession,but not in helping.

Your logic is that TC.com should not publish articles like this because Sobhan, Krishna, Jagayya as you say did not help others.

this is a movie site and nothing is more relevant to publish than articles like this one. No ones talking about the actors personal choices and charity habits.

Thanks Sri & NaChaki...for the great article. I wasn't a Sobhan fan yet when this movie was released. It's only in 1976 I became one. I got the oppurtunity to see 'Soggadu'only after many years and now again online !!! Sobhan garu will forever be missed.

indra tagore and shankar dada are not in a row dude.. there are lot of yrs gap in between indra and tagore.. check it

indra was released in july 2002 while tagore was released in september 2003. dont know if that is gap of many years...
