hi,

jaitrayatra was agreat film to telugu patrons,I feel Nag has to be given credit for doing all experiments and variety of subjects he does all the time
he brought new directors to telugu
he introduced Maniratnam to telugu
ram gopal varma to telugu
fazil
priyadarshan
uppalapati narayan rao
and many more new talents
jaitra yatra was a good film in terms of content and the way it is narrated
If someone said that second half has no entertainment then I can only say that they didnot understand the film...
we should not jugde a film basing on the boxoffice status

any ways can anyone give a retrospective of gitanjali aswell
Another Mani rathnam

Uppalapati garu, the only thing I can sayabout you is luck is not in favor of you otherwise you are going to be another big time director like Maniratnam. I don't like to compare you with Varma because except Shiva and Kshanam Kshanam I don't like like any of his films. Some time I think you are greater than varma. As luck is not inyour favor you became commercially not viable and film industry lost one great director. Hope you will get break again like Vijay Bhaskar whose Prarthana is great film and as it is not successful he waited for 10 yrs for another break.

Jaitra Yatra is a great film. I just love some scenes in the film. Really talented direction.

Uppalapati garu, we will never forget you. You alraedy won the hearts of many people, if not money.

We wish you to come back with one more bang. This time with 'Commercial success'.

I absolutely love the film. It was very well made. I agree with the comments - Uppalapati is another Maniratnam. I think this might be the right time for Mr.Uppalapati to get a break. People are encouraging directors like Vijay Bhaskar and Shekhar Kammula.

It was a well made movie and the song that R mentioned above is something I still keep humming.

Uppalapati was unlucky and I hope he gets another break.
