sir I am a daily visitor to telugucinema.com I want a help from
telugucinema.com that is can u please send akkineni nageshwar rao's
filmography with released dates and directors to my email please sir this
is a sincere request hope u consider it and help me
The most attractive part of Illarikam was the comedy track involving
Relangi, Ramana Reddy. Especially the scenes where relangi changes the food
plates and Ramanareddy starts jumping with a burning tongue. Relangi breaks
the lone water pot in front of him.
Apart from this, the performance of villains (CSR and R.Nageswararao as son
and father) was excellent. Probably Illarikam was one of the earlier films
in which son-father combination used as villains which continued in telugu
films for many decades For example SVR-Satyanarayana ( Dabbuku lokam
dasoham) , Nagabhushanam-Satyanarayana( amma mata) ,
Nagabhushanam-Satyanarayana ( Adavi Ramudu) Rao Gopala Rao-Mohan babu (
Driver Ramudu) etc.
It was remade in Hindi and Tamil as Sasural and Maadi veetu Mapillai.Hindi
was a hit Tamil was average. Jayalaitha acted inthe film chalapathirao
gave music for the Tamil version . Nothing like the original Illarikam.
Niluvave Vaalu--song was suipposed to be deleted but director insisted and
it became a hit, most thought it was illogical.
