Aapada Mokkula Vaadu is one of the absurd movies that hit the screens in the recent times. When Posani makes a film, one gets prepared to see the profane dialogues (it has plenty) but the gore and extreme violence is beyond palatable. Direction is amateurish. Script is hogwash. Performances are theatrical. Screenplay is confusing. Scenes are incoherent. In fact, there is no story. The director might have gone to the sets with newspapers in his hand and watching some news channels.

He just filmed what we read on the newspapers. He just tries to join the fragmented news clippings together.

He also tries to appease all the prominent leaders. He dedicates the movie to Chief Minister YS Rajashekar Reddy. He gives clean chit to the CM in the movie and proclaims that his party men are corrupted. In some scenes, he praises, Sonia Gandhi, Vajpayee, Chandra Babu Naidu, etc.

When Operation Duryadhona released, TRS leaders objected for offensive words towards Telengana movement. Hence he this time calls in TRS leader Prakash and gives him a role that no way related to the film. That sums up how incoherent the movie is.

Just when you understand that the film is about one Rangaiah Naidu (Naga Babu) taking vengeance on moronic politicians, you get to see an irrelevant scene, which glorifies Chiranjeevi, and the characters say Chiru only saves the society.

The positive elements are some episodes in the second half and one item number by Uday Bhanu. She looks sexy. Nagababu is okay as the lead role but the rest of the cast are novices and don't know the abcd's of acting. Posani's brother-in-law also plays an important role. Less said about the technical aspects the better. Cameraman must have been learning his craft during the making of this movie. Some angles are funnier. Lenina Chowdhary's background is loud as the film is.

In one word, it tests you and you exhaust after watching it. Sensible handling of this subject could have been different.
