Movie is very entertaining. Except for few silly farting jokes and Ali role everything else tickles you with decent to good entertainment. There is hardly any mother sentiment. It lasts only few minutes.

For Venkatesh these kind of roles are cake walk. His character is something we typical see here in US. Mostly in North Indian ABCD communities. Anushka looked very good as always. BIn this movie, she is very very decent and was nice to see her do meaningful(meatless) role.

I watched the movie yesterday.Before watching i saw your review and the review was not positive so i was not expecting any great movie. But Honestly the movie was really entertaining. songs, dialogues, comedy, US locales, mother sentiment, venky's performance are all good. And i believe this movie will gross nearly 25 crores or more easily. Meaning big hit.

Thanks to all the lousy reviewers we have for Telugu movies. Most of them don't even know to avoid interesting story details in reviews. Anyway, over the years I learned to skip to the bottom of reviews until I saw the movie.

I think our reviewers can do better if they don't rush to put the review without thinking much about the movie.

Ch Ravi is made to be an entertainer. A family entertainer. Well, we can't expect 100% of the movie to please all of us as the producer likes to cover the movie with pieces that can entertain all segments of Venky's fan base. Mainly, youngsters who love comedy and families who like little bit of sentiment along with a clean family entertainer.

Ch Ravi had everything. Avoiding the disgusting Ali comedy could have probably helped the movie gain an extra .25 rating. All the characters played well and fit well in the movie. Anushka probably got her first meatless role and she looked HOTTER than she is in any meaty roles.

Movie has got great entertainment value, music that feels great while viewing on big screen, gorgeous and decent looking Anushka and Mamatha Mohandas, very controlled mother sentiment, comedy that brings burts of laughter with great repeat value.

I remember when I first saw Nuvvu Naaku Nachav, I loved it so much that I was shocked then as I wasn't expecting such great comedy movie from our Telugu top heros. But the ugly looking Aarthi Agarwal ruined some of he fun for me. But that movie got better for me on each viewing and probably is the best comedy in modern times.

I feel Chintakayala Ravi will also grow on me over the years when the DVD gets released and would probably be remembered as one of the better comedy movies with great looking girls. Well, I am not saying it's better or even as good as Nuvvu Naaku Nachav. But it can be enjoyed just as much and it made me want to watch Nuvvu Naaku Nachav AGAIN.

Thanks to Venky for giving a great entertainer and for showing Anushka as a realistic female for the first time on screen.

The movie could have been lot better if they spent time on cleaning up the script, polished some jokes(for example, Venky's silly prayer before taking exam) and avoided the background sad song copied from Oh Shanti Om. It actually made us laugh and hold our heads for directors stupidity.

Movies of the year for me so far: Gamyam, Ashta Chemma, Chintakayala Ravi, Ready (comedy is too good but violence could have been avoided). These four are the one's I would buy on DVD first day of realease. Rest all are garbage or close to garbage. Jalsa is easily the best of the worst but I would still buy the DVD. Probably when it goes on sale.

Can't wait for a good DVD.

Balaya, You have to take charge of TDP and keep babu aside, his ideas are getting old and bringing negative votes a lot. people consider him as he is a cancer. We last lots of big leaders, for sample Gowda, Bu Reddy including his wife, Sriramulu, Kotagiri, Nayadu who joined Congress. And now Ganta Vizag wing, there are belongs all different communities. If there are belongs to one community folks then we do not need to worry but the situations shows Babu has no control, he better stop screwing Roja or leave him with her permanently and you take charge.

The movie is really super. Venky is the only hero in tollywood to give continuous hits in tollywood. A great performance of venky gives a huge success to the movie.
