Whats hot!
Music (by Vandemataram) is its major advantage. All the songs including its picturisation are very good. Venumadhav comedy is big asset. He brings much humor although his role is very small. First half is okay. No obscenity, no vulgar dialogues. It has rich production values (ably captured y cameraman Poorna) and the direction is neat.
Whats not!
There is no novelty in the script. Very slow paced especially in the second half. Both the heroines Sindhuri (although she at least has shown sparkle) and Nicole are miscast. Jaya who introduced two glamour girls Suhasini and Kamna earlier failed this time.
Bottom-line!
Gundammagari Manvadu is aimed for mass audiences. The catchy music, Ali driven script, sentiment scenes and Superstar Krishna making guest appearance prove this point. So it might go well with the B and C cnter audiences. Urban and class audiences easily cannot identify with this film. As the film made with minimal budget, Gundammagari Manavadu might be safe proposition.
