Analysis
Two biggest producers and most successful filmmakers - Puri Jagannadh and Dil Raju have teamed up for Hello..Premistara. Unfortunately, their first joint production is far from riveting and entertaining. Indeed, the film has resemblance to Ajith starrer S J Surya's Vaali. We can excuse that part, but the screenplay is not that interesting to sustain the tempo. Lack of entertainment, uninteresting second half and unconvincing climax make the film look very ordinary. One gets boredom too in some occasions.
It has its own share of interesting moments, though. Biggest asset is Chakri's music and the picturisation of songs. Even the production values are good.
Performances
Sairam Shankar has done good job in dual roles. Compared to his other films, he has matured and gives justice to his character. But the film is too heavy for his 'young' shoulders to carry on. Heroine
Sheela looks good and does a better job.
Brahmanandam in the role of Amaravati evokes laughter.
Direction by Raj Kumar is neat but he has chosen a script that is double edged and there he errs. But he is succeeded bringing richness to the film.
Bottom-line
Hello..Premistara fails to impress. Music is major highlight but the basic line reminds you of Vaali and thus you don't get feel novelty. Second half is too weak.
