Boring & Routine movie...except climax

The movie is below average. Dil Raju is having Big Dil and giving chance to every new director, because if he books Vinayak or Trivikram or Rajamouli he has to pay minimum 2 to 3 crores. He is least bothered about the entire script, he is just listening a line of story... resulting flop. There are many beautiful stories are available in Telugu sotries. Rachkonda Viswanatha Sastry, Kodavaganti kutumba Rao, Bina Devi, Olga, Malladi, Yandamuri... so many writers. Even with Parucuri, Satyanand, Diwakar Babu, Chinnikrishna, Vithal and many others are having good stories.

This time, Dil Raju gave a terrible flop.

Strange that the reviewer points so many loop holes in the film and yet gives it a 3.5/5 rating!!

except for an ill etched out but rather touching portrayel of physics lecturer which was inadvertently and immaturely nipped in the bud....the film got nothing to boast of....better watch DD serial...

just watched the movie 'marocharitra' copy. how many movies 'dil' raju will make on the same idea and the concept of ' dont get married till you get right time' was there in plenty of movies

they wanted to elope but hero doesnt come as his father dies in train accident then they miss after 4 years. hero meets heroines father in railway station he asks hero about heroine he is surprised, hero mother brings heroine saying from 4 years she is in her control and gives message
'now you marry as you completed education...'
what is this message boss

hope 'dil' raju will make different films instead of trying the same formula of father son drama
atleast first half is some what better guys

Nice to see many people analyzing the movies very well, genuine comments/analysis will help the industry to get better quality.
But couple of people going away from the discussion bringing cast/creed (does any of the earlier comments made by the goers hurt in personal certainly not: is it necessary to drags cast in every issue?).

this is worth watching.

people who follow my comments knows very well that my comments are genuine and true.

first of all we have to appreciate dil raju for selecting this movie with a thin story line i.e., father and son sentiment, which we have seen in bommarillu. like others, i too felt what he will show more than bommarillu. but it is an extra-ordinary movie, which we can feel a lot.

we must appreciate him for not including a star son in this movie. if he would have included him, then this movie definitely would have bombed at box office. here the star verdict is correct.

but, frankly i speak some thing. dil raju do what he want to do. he will make all good movies. i am confident. this i observed during 50 days function of munna. i observed he was not happy at that function. becos he knows that the movie was not doing well and he need not celebrate 50 days function. but, due to fans pressure he did that.

finally, this is a movie worth watching.

if some body feel that my judgement is wrong, then they can see my comment after 30 days.

Reviewer concentrated more on evaluating the movie based on other movies. Talks less about the actors or the basic story line. Comparisons are inevitable for any movie. Its almost IMPOSSIBLE for any movie maker to write a story/screenplay which is completely ORIGINAL. We all watch movies and certainly film makers as well, so some movies create an everlasting impression which are unavoidable to be recreated.

'Technical Departments' does not talk about direction at all! Director's credit comes first for any movie. Director brings life to characters, how well he etched the characters for the roles is very important thing to talk about. As a new comer (KBL) director there is lot to talk about.

No word about 'DIL' Raju. How good the production values are...As a producer DIL Raju is expected to be very good at bringing richness to the movie. Its missing in the review!

A huge paragraph is written on 'Minor Overlooks' in the movie. Almost all the overlooks seem to be very very minor and does not need to be noted in a review. Minor hiccups should not be considered unless it obstructs the flow of screenplay. For example...# Are students given loose papers and allowed pads into the examination room in Intermediate?! Whatever happened to answer booklets! # How does it matter to any audience watching the movie whether there were loose papers or Answer booklets. What more, reviewer might even ask about college stamp on the loose papers!

Finally coming to 'Bottom Line', its neither clear nor informative for any reader.

I guess you read what I wrote about "Clean Slate" and "Nenu Meeku Telusa?" - inspiration is always possible, and that's what is highlighted in the review for "Nenu Meeku Telusa?"

For KBL too, comparisons were provided but these comparisons were not inspirations and remote resemblances. For example, one of my friends simply said that the first half of KBL is all about student life and compared it to "Happy Days", and I disagreed for the same reason that you said - resemblances are not uncommon!

About the director and producer, I did write particularly too but possibly not what you expected. When some names become "brands", there may not be particular praises but there'd be minor spills that are talked about. With a debutant, one can speak about the strengths and weaknesses and that I did too.

The sooner you get rid of the "Minor Overlook" sections,the better your reviews will be.Most of them dont make any sense.It looked innovative for the first few reviews but now it just looks funny.swing and a miss.

The Minor Overlook section is not for audience really. It's for the moviemakers to realize and not make simple mistakes. Movies can become masterpieces when they don't have such overlooks. Some overlooks also indicate the care that the filmmakers give to their product.

Movies are movies. and unless you are reviewing a documentary film, you cannot really make big fuss about answer papers being loose or stapled. if that is the case, you can also question why the kids are able to sing such nice tunes with good lyrics.

Movies project a unreal world, and movie should be rated based on whether it was able to provide entertainment in its own limits.

I am not a film maker . I am just a viewer. finally a quote...

# Use of Pokiri dialogue and Puri Jagannath's name in flashback, when the male and female leads were children.

This is not a mistake.In fact its copied scene from OSO.Puri Jaganath was a kid and he got that line from Lavanya.He used it when he grew up and became a director.



# Mentioning " station-ki car pampaTam" twice, both times telling that the heroine is coming by bus. Bus station, is it? Oh, maybe!

Not really sure how saying bus stand instead of bus station will improve the quality of a movie.

And I already said this...even letters written with ball point pen get smeared with water.

They thought about each other 11000 times.May be yes...didnt you see how they kept on writing the numbers continuouslty.I think it meant to show that they were constantly thinking of each other.

Answer booklet is a big joke.you are way overthinking it.

It is very nice picture.The new entry of heroin was excellent 2 to 3 situations. mostly the first half was very nice. In second half likttle bit boring and director not very good home work because to change the mentality of he simply or silly killed the imp father character(prakash raj). overll i feel best

Jeevi for sure must have intentionally hyped this movie or he only saw the last 30 minutes of the movie.

Take away the last 20-30mins and this movie deserves somewhere between 2.75 to 3 rating. The last 30-min of the movie is too good and it deserves a 3.5 rating.

Well reviewed NaChaKi even though I might not agree on everything written. Reviews are based on personal tastes. I compare reviews on TC.com, idlebrain, and fullhyd.com. Usually, one them gets it close for most movies.

BTW, Chintakalaya Ravi is made as an entertainer and it did entertain. I can see that movie 2-3 times. How many can watch KBL more than once even though it's highly rated?

I think movies repeat value also should be mentioned in reviews. Athili Sattibabu may have got bad reviews but you can watch that movie 2-3 times and still enjoy.

I have seen many times Dil Raju and others saying we have conveyed a good message. Bloody what is the message in this movie, I don’t think any of 12th Standard students will take the message, rather they will spoil their studies with this concept.
