The script is very formulaic and the narration by new director also leaves much desirable. Such revenge dramas bring fatigue among the audiences. It is too lengthy and very slow paced in many situations.

Lakshyam has commercial elements that might appeal to the mass audiences. Gopichand’s performance and action episodes go well down with them. Despite predictable storyline and tepid narration, it works due to music and good star cast. Contentwise, it is not that appreciable.
