Whats it about!
Seetaramudu (Shivaji) is a happy-go-lucky person. He falls in love with Anjali (Ankita) at very first sight. He plays many tricks to win her love. Finally when she accepts his love, son of a local don (Rahul Dev) also starts loving her. He proposes to her but she rejects. Distressed he wanders on the road and injures in an accident. His father is now on look-out for Anjali. The rest of the film is the confrontation between our hero and villain.
Analysis
So far, hero Shivaji has done soft romantic films and family oriented subjects. In a bid to get a mass image, he has chosen this film. But there is less mass stuff and more bore elements. The storyline itself is jaded. All the while the director tries to show hero in larger than life role but he fails to do so eventually, as the story that he has chosen has no place for it. We can easily spot that Shivaji himself lost interest in the film. It seems he has done halfheartedly. Except for Ankitas scintillating glamour show, the film is complete waste effort.
The director Shyam (his first film, Mounamelanoyi was also flop) tries to make up the film with morbid comedy scenes and jaded romantic scenes but he fails to make the audiences sit through it.
Whats hot!
Ankita is very good in glamour show. Her bikini show is eye feast. Music by Ramana Gogula is just an okay. Cheli Chemantala..song is a good melody. Cinematography by Anji is sufficient. The less said about the rest of the cast (hero Shivajis belly is very visible) and technicians is the better.
Whats not!
Everything in the film is very substandard.
Bottom-line!
Shivaji should stick to his comedy flicks. He is good at it. Shivaji fails miserably in his first attempt at mass film.
