first half movie is good and second half is boring. But Pavankalyan entrance is the major esset. Heroine is utter waste. Prabhudeva is not right director for the movie. even the dialogues also does n't punch like shanker dada MBBS. overall it is an average movie. Because of the songs movie can boost up for a long run 100.

I am Really disappointed after seeing this movie. After coming out from theatre my first thinking was i have wasted money. After this i will never watch chiru movie on first day.

Shakar Dada Zindabad is a very good movie!!!
After a long time a movie with some josh had hit the screens of Andhra.
Pawan's entrance is awesome.
Herione is a new comer and could'nt act well and she was the major drawback.
Over all the movie may collect around 40-45 crorse and its ofcors a dissapointment beacause fore chiuru's range the movie should have collected more than 60 crores.
The songs are the strength and the situational songs and chiru's expressions bring smile on everyone's face and first half is really hilarious.
Coming to Allu Arjun and Srikanth and Ravi Teja..the way they are shown on the screen was just startling and sparkles:) on audience faces.

I saw the movie in NewJersy and believe me I forgot that Iam in USA. I cant believe the crowds.

I saw some white ppl also watching the movie. Iam not sure whether they understand telugu or not.

I saw the LRMB and this one too. It is better than expected. Bcos the original movie is such a big hit and making remakes of big hits is not easy.

The music is very good and is lot better than recent chiru movies.

Overall its great experience watching a telugu movie first time in USA on screen with such a huge huge crowds.

My final verdict the movie is better than expected.

Movie is good. First half is really entertaining. Second half is dragging a bit like LRMB. Two scenes are copied directly from LRMB which is bad. Chiru performed well but has to loose some weight.

I'm not an avid watcher of films..but being in hyderabad makes me to watch one or two at times..i watched shankardada and shivaji..but i don't think they are not as good as the media is making them to be..but i have a notion that the world of cinema whether it is hindi or english or take it tamil malayalam and bengali..there are so many meaning ful cinema not exactly art films but with a touch of commercialisation attached to them...like bheja fry honeymoon travels..in hindi..blood diamond and the departed in english...i also saw the movies pokiri and khatarnack their plot is straight lifted from THE DEPARTED english movie....there are no originals here in telugu...why don't somebody come forward and show us something we want to see...coz telugu cinema market is such ahuge one and it's possible to take risks in making some good cinema rather than the same old stories of hero villain and not to mention the sa called dialogues in worst state to please the so called fans..WHAT A PITY....

If you are a die hard loyal Chiru fan, you will enjoyment from watching this movie will be , on a scale of 1-10, w/ 10 being highest and 1 being lowest, anywhere from 7-10. Even then you will find portions of the movie a bit whack and uninteresting.

If you are not one of those fans, you probably will feel spending $12 for a movie such as this is not simply worth it. You may even feel cheated out of your money. But then the price is not fixed by the producers.

I went w/ no expectations and found SDMBBS was far more entertaining than SDZ. DSP BGM music was not quite up to the mark as w/ NVNV for example or SDMBBS - to me the songs were ok and Chiru's grace can be seen in every one of them.

Every scene in the Hindi original, is touching and moving and holds the viewer's interest. Not quite so in this case - it is good in bits and pieces. The straight lift from the Hindi original of the pan-spitter scene, pensioner scene w/ dubbing overlayed didn't click well. It can be painful to watch lip movements be out of sync w/ dialogue, especially for a Chiru movie and especially given SDMBBS experience. Sonali Bendre in SDMBBS fitted the role to the tee - every moment of her screen presence had impact on the viewer. Sonali's dubbing fit perfectly w/ her lip movement, the dedicated actress that she is. Right from Murari days, in all Telugu movies she has acted, her lip movement has never been out of place.
The female lead's emoting ability in this movie, did not come out well for most part, except when she has to show anger and hurt.

Even if I were to watch this movie w/o having watched LRMB, I would have not been impressed by this movie overall. Watching the second half, made me feel, why did I have to pay $12 to watch a Telugu dubbing of LRMB. Those two scenes are high impact scenes in LRMB, but lost visual impact on the viewer by having Telugu dubbing overlayed on them. I'd happily give $12 or more for watching LRMB anytime of the day or watching SDMBBS as well.

Biggest problem with Chiru films is his domination over the story and larger than life image. Thats what keeping him away to recognize his true potential as an actor. The protagonist should be part of the story, not otherway round. If we want to see him as an unparalleled actor, K. Viswanath or K. Balachandar or Maniratnam should direct him. However, his fans dont like Chiranjeevi to act with such classical directors once again. It is true that his fans killed his hunger for experimenting in films. Thanks god, Kamal hasan hasn't yet bowed to commercial stereotypes.

The heroin and villain charactors are very weak when compared to Vidya Balan and Bomman Irani. The dialogues are below average. SDZ release before day expectations chala vundey, but nenu kuda Chiru fan , but i am disapponied with the final output, really really disappointed, first ineed to say the heroine selection is the worst ever done in the telugu film industry ( she does not deserve to be a side character), comedy failed and i am stunned why chiru was not dancing as usual in the songs and was concentrated more on side dancers, srikanth , and Yana. over all not a gr8 movie but still u can watch once foir the charisma and grace of chiru.

Why are you so interested in others sex life? Have your own. Come out of the box that you were raised and find your true self. Listen to how God created you. Listen to your likings, disliking and cravings. You might be very happy by having many sex partners or you may be happy by just thinking about your wife all the time. But first, observe your own characterstics, i.e., the tendencies of your Genes, which is God's creation.

I always felt that chiranjeevi's movies lacked the technology when his producers can afford the best inthe industry.

Take ManiRathnam or Ram Gopal Varma who take adcvantage of technical values to the best. Both the directors have the best in the industry. The difference is that Mani Rathnam sticks to the best in the country, while Ram Gopal Varma relies more on new talented technicians. This technicality is an added asset which enhances the look and feel of their movie.


Chiranjeevi has to move ahead regarding the technical aspects of film making.



1.) It is proven that Chota.K.Naidu is pretty medicore as a cinematographer and chiranjeevi is agening. He needs talented cinematographers who can present him better(like lawrence in Style). He has to have a young n talented cinematographers like Sarvesh or Senthil Kumar or P.C.Sriram etc etc who are very talented and creative working for his movie. Movie is a visual media and the basic principle is to present it excitingly and creatively and interestingly.

2.) Technology like DI(Digital Intermediate) should be taken advantage of. Most of the high budget and high profile movies use this technology which will rectify all the photography/lighting issues and enhance the image to a superior quality.

3.) Shot taking is one of the art which latest telugu directors have mastered. Take examples of Munna, Yogi, Ashok, DesaMuduru etc etc. Look at the action sequences, emotional sequences and songs picturization. Focus and care should be on shot making. Other heros and banners are already ahead of chiranjeevi inthis department.

4.) Why always "Paruchuri Brothers"? There is no lack of script writers in telugu film industry. Encouragement should be given to new writers waiting for an opportunity. New writers with creative ideas will have freshness and punch.

there is some sort routine look in chiru's acting..and a bit tiredness(may be becos of overweight)..so it does'nt look energitic...even dialogue delivery too is not crisp now a days

he looks like gasping for breath..I feel he needs a good break to reduce his weight and to release movies with good gap..remember After Rajni's Chandramukhi only shivaji....but Chiru released 4 ..none being worthy

My suggestion to the fans, take care of you, your future and your families.

Movie is below average. It is advised to chirunjeevi. He should be smart first. He should select good director for making his films even the story old one. Technical values should be added. Heavy morals,mass,comedy are not required but they should be heart touched.
I hope his next movie will entertain the Telugu people.

waste horibble chiru looks like an old man cinema flop flop flop flop dont watch . ur flim anji flop,andarivadu flop,jai chiranjeeva flop,stalin flop and ankar dada zindabad also flop so 5 flops in a row . so better u retire.

It is always difficult to translate the feel and essence of a film into another language.SDZ failed because the director and writers could not catch the pulse of the original.

Asalu cinema start chesinappati nundi Hangama , Hadavidi. Audio release appudu chudali atram. cinema release roju T.V. channels valla aagityam. Tickets counterlalo topulatalo abhimanula maranam. asalu intha chese oka UTTER FLAP CINEMA . That too a remake. oka remake ni kuda hit cheyyalene hero ga CHIRANJEEVI tala ekkada pettukovalo athade alochinchukovali . Konni kotla rupayalu cinema pracharaniki , hungama ku kharchu pette badulu oka samajaniki upayoga pade manchi pani cheste baguntundi kada mitrama ALOCHINCHI.

CHIRANJEEVI already accepted his uselessness because hw wants the support of 2,3 baring- all heroines or 2,3 other stars like in SDZ to boost the movie.As if he all alone can not sustain a movie.

SDZ really sucks. i watched the movie in b'lore PVR by spending 300 rs. these is movie is not worth of 3rs also. its very pathetic to watch megastar in this slick flick. he should have made better movies. it is a really bad choice of him.

the saving things in these movie are music & mega dances...
it is a very big disappointment for fans as well as distributors. let us wait and see whether chiru also paybacks the loss to producers & distributors like rajini sir for BABA.

nativity is missing it should had been directed by jayanth it self prabu is good for straight movie he is not much good in remaking ex=even he directed pokiri remake in tamil with worse comedy and lack of heroism in that movie so the fault is with direction otherwise it could had been collected more than sivaji ok
