i just watched the movie. the first half of the movie is okay but the story is quite stupid. second half is worse.

rajamouli's previous movies had a thread that connected first half and second half and that is missing. for example - simhadri - "padhi mandiki melu jarugutundante nenu chavadanikaina siddhame"; chatrapati - "vottu vesi oka maata, veyyakunda oka maata cheppanu".

whats good - photography, music, ntr performance and dances

whats bad - story, screenplay, length

it will collect 150Cr Because of Jr.ntr and 150CR because of MBabu. So there is no more Sivaji in Indus Yama=300Cr in Sr.Ntr family

If i want watch a telugu movie, need to drive almost 90 miles. Watching a telugu movie is like for us one whole day. So it is quite obvious to people like me.

Movie is very good. NTR excelled in every aspect. This will become one of the best film for Tarak. Congrats to Tarak and YD team.

I told agree with the reviwers who write review and give their opinion.

It is totally different in India , we hardly spend Rs 100-200 for a movie to watch.

After increasing price to $15 for all the recent movies, my family need to spend atleast $100 for one movie.

If they give review ontime then we decide whether to go for the movie or not.

It is fault of USA distibutors who are buying the movies for bigger amount.

In 2000-2001 a telugu movie is to cost 20-25 lakhs (BIG MOVIES).

Now big movies are costing more then 1 crore.

All this because of the distributors.

They can the movie for reasonable price and sell to exhibitors for reasonable price.

Not let them suffer.

Review are helpful, SDZ has an average review, so as YamaDonga. But these are presented differently. However, it is very common to read review and rating before going to a Hollywood movie. They invest much more than Tollywood does. If they can accept this, why can't we. As some one said we need to invest time and money.

If the reviewer coming up with crappy reviews they know people stop reading his views at a later time.

nothing but boaring movie it's too lengthy movie totally just average flick

I saw the movie in Bangalore on the first day. The rush was such that all the tickets were sold in black by the theatre people in black for Rs: 200 in public and in no time all were sold. even the local movies wont have such a craze atleast in black. imagine each ticket costs Rs: 200 for the entire day.


Coming to the film, i was entirely happy and it gave me full worth of my money. yes, second half narration and screen play a bit weak and it was not boring like SDZ. but it surely deserves more than an average rating.

in the end there were some technical snippets such as making of the movie. and they showed how much technically this movie was made.

finally, ntr performances was simply outstanding, he is going to make it tough for all other young actors in the industry to match him and even bigger actore will be on their toes. i feel he gave more than 200 percent for this movie. he acted in this film as if it was his home production. So, NTR. it was great to see you perform in such an high intensity. and please keep this consistency. and you will reach great heights.

i just watched the movie in "ARCHANA" nellore.Frankly i didnt see anyone dance like that in south cinemas.Though there are some boring scenes in the movie as every movie has overall movie is different from todays trend (no violence) and entertaining presently there are huge crowds but we cant say anything until 1 week.I hope i sinks into audience well as there no good movies presently

The movie has excellent graphics, the performance of Jr. NTR & Mohan babu is very good. The dances of Jr. are very nice. You might be thinking that this should be enough for the movie to be good.

But it is one of the most horrible movies ever made. Its the screenplay which has gone bad. I do not understand how come a very talented director like Rajamouli make such a huge mistake. This is a classic example of a big budget movie going kaput since it lacks the soul.

This movie will work in B & C centers only. The movie will not do good business in A-class, Urban and Overseas centers.

please check the websites of all multiplexses in andhra pradesh, where in only 30% tickets only sold, which clearly indicate the fate of the movie. i am not a fan of any actor.
the fans must note that they are only fans and do some good things. just look at my below points. i am a close observer of the telugu movie world and you go through my below mentioned points and say whether i am correct or not.

1. Chiranjivi is the only one star who invented to do some social service activities in india. he is the inspiration for so many stars now. before chiranjivi kingdom, fans means people who throng to the theatres and go for some rallies on release date and break coconuts at wall posters of their favourite heroes. but, chiranjivi changed the definition of fans.

2. before chiranjivi kingdom, the stars were acting for more than 15 films in a year. he is the only star who reduced his movies 3 or 4 in a year and shown the way to other stars, who adopted this method later. he took this decision to give quality films. he know about his stamina. that is the reason why he is not encashed his stardom at any time.

3. chiranjivi is a role model for many stars and up coming actors in tollywood. if you touch any actor he will say that chiranjivi his/her role model.

4. we respect him by seeing the way he speaks, the way he behaves. he look degnified, his moves are dignified and the people with whom he moves are dignified.

5. he is the star made by on his own.

i am not against to balakrishna or Jr NTR. i am a fan of Sr. NTR right from my child hood and i beleive he is the only legend in tollywood. No one can beat Sr.NTR., but, his clan is spoiling his image. i mention few points, which you will also accept.

1. the shoot out episode of balakrishna at his residence. an actor has to inspire the fans with his behaviour. tell me will any body follow these kind of activity.

2. jr. NTR after his first film told to SITARA weekly, that he likes chiranjivi films very much and he told that his favourite actor is pavan kalyan. if you have any doubts, just watch old sitara, so that this will be clarified.

3. jr. NTR initial films became super hits, because, those were watched by chiranjivi fans too. but, when his fans started commenting chiranjivi, i beleive, they stopeed watching his movies, due to which none of his movies became hits afterwards.

4. nobody in NTR family likes jr. NTR. this is a fact. every one including fans too knows of this.

5. balakrishna tried to shoot the god ie., producer. according to Sr NTR producer is god. and by making a film with Jr NTR one more god attempted suicide by jumping into the hussainsagar. these two incidents worried me a lot. and even it spoiled the image of Sr NTR.

6. you observe the speech of balakrishna on any occassion. that even a single sentence he can say properly. he say aaaaaa. eeee......uuuuuuuuu..... like that and there will be no like between one sentence to another sentence and some times even one word to another word. i surprise how he will say lengthly dialogues in his movies. for confirmation, just concentrate on his speech next time to know this fact.

7. my sympathy to jr. NTR because he is not treated as NTR clan. even during the engagement time of Balakrishna daughter, jr ntr just entered and came out within seconds. because, he knows none of NTR family members likes him. you can definitely watch this difference during the wedding too.....

finally, my dear fans, i am not a chiru fan. i am a born fan of sr. NTR. i like ntr movies. i might have seen most of his movies. i love him. but, i need not be a follower of his clan, who spoil his image.

my appeal to the fans is not to use vulgur words on any actor/acctress, which is not good. try to discuss some true facts.
