Amala Paul who was cast opposite Venkatesh in
Seetamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is no longer part of the cast. The film's shoot - a song on Venkatesh - is currently under progress in Vizag.
This multi-starrer movie sees the coming together of Venkatesh and Mahesh Babu for the first time. And the film has been facing problems about 'right heroine' for Venkatesh ever since Venky okayed the movie. After Anushka walked out of the project citing date problems, Amala Paul was approached and she immediately signed on the dotted line. A photo shoot was also done. But for some reasons, she is not doing the movie now.
Producer Dil Raju is now in talks with another heroine. Buzz is that he is now talking with Anjali, the Telugu girl who won good name in Tamil films like
Engeyum Eppotham (
Journey in Telugu).
Dil Raju might announce the final cast details this week. Mahesh Babu will join the movie's shoot from next month.
The film is being directed by Srikanth Addala of
Kotta Bangaru Lokam fame. Mahesh Babu has Samantha has heroine.
Problems ..Problems
The film was originally planned with Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh. Pawan Kalyan said no. Then Dil Raju almost dropped off the project. And then Mahesh okayed the script and has given his dates.
'Vadina' factor
Many big heroines were approached to play the role opposite Venkatesh but they turned down the chance as they felt not comfortable playing Vadina (sister-in-law) to Mahesh Babu.
