Bye - Bye to films!

Pressure is mounting on Megastar Chiranjeevi from various political parties to join the political bandwagon. The talk of mid-term polls has sent all the parties in Andhra Pradesh to look for populist measures and on the look out for a film personality who draws public. Hence, megastar Chiranjeevi is wooed by one and all. On Wednesday (October 3, 2007), even CPI (M) which normally shies away from glitz and glamour, too has sent invitation to Chiranjeevi to join their proposed 'third alliance'.
Few days back, Andhra Pradesh Congress Party President GS Rao welcomed Chiru to their party and said 'special place' is reserved for the megastar.
Dillydallying
But our megastar, as always, dillydallies on this issue. It is clear that he has political ambitions and has been hobnobbing with the top brass of various parties. Yet, he doesn't utter anything on it. He loves people to talk about it rather than he saying anything. He always evades the point, like a true politician (do we see a neta in the making already!).
Dope on 149th film!
While there is a talk that he might stop acting this year with the onset of elections, Chiru is also listening to various stories for his 149th film. Gunashekar and N Shankar (yes, you read it right. Not Tamil Shankar, N Shankar) is preparing scripts for him for this film. One of them will be directing for his next movie to be produced by Geeta Arts.
