Prakash Raj's 'Dhoni' in Feb

Multiple times National Award winner Prakash Raj is now making his debut as director in Telugu. He has already directed a film in Kannada (remake of Akaasamantha) and now he comes up with a film titled Dhoni. Starring himself in the lead role of a middleclass guy struggling to make two ends meet and striving hard to bring up his two kids, Dhoni primarily focuses on current education system.
"Though the film is about education system and it is also about the celebration of middle class life. Even in morbid situations, middle class men live happily and work hard for their kids but are they providing what the child really aspire to do, or simply forcing the children to by-heart lessons. Dhoni questions this but in lighter vein and emotional manner," Prakash Raj said.
Puri Jagannadh's son Akash is playing the role of Prakash Raj's son. Radhika Apte plays female lead.
Music is on Jan 25
Maestro Ilayaraja has scored the music and all the songs have been recorded through live orchestra. Music is likely to hit the market on January 25th while the film is up for release in the second week of February. Sirivennela Seetaramasastry penned all the lyrics.
Apart from directing and acting in, Prakash Raj also produces the film in Telugu and Tamil on Duet Movies banner.
