Then sizzling sexy beauty Namitha followed the suit and is now shooting for Desadrohi in which she plays a sincere cop. Now, even Navneet Kaur, who till now played only glam roles, has taken up the baton. A new director Surya Injamoori is directing Navneet Kaur in a cop role and the movie is currently shooting in Hyderabad. Khaki roles are the new fashion for these glam girls.
Not just these cop characters, heroines like Anushka, Genelia and others are demanding roles with some substance in even commercial movies. Some of them even ready to play heroine-oriented films only.
