It is confirmed that Ram Charan Tej is making debut in Bollywood. He will be doing remake of Amitabh Bachchan's Zanjeer (1973). Remember
Zanjeer was Amitabh's first break through film in his career; after this smash hit, Amitabh got the image of angry young man. It may be remembered that the legendary NTR also delivered a hit with the remake of this film as Nippu Laanti Manishi (1974). Produced and directed by Prakash Mehra, the film is to be remade by Mehra's son. Reliance Entertainment would be co-producing the movie.
Apoorva Lakia (
Ek Ajnabee and
Shootout at Lokhandwala fame) is going to direct the movie. Ram Charan is thrilled to enter into Bollywood with this remake.
