Siddardh became a rage with Nuvvostanante Nennoddantana which was released during Sankranthi release in 2005. Now he tests his luck again with his latest Telugu film Konchem Ishtam Konchem Kashtam (KIKK) in the Sankranthi time. The movie, produced by Nallamalupu Srinivas (Bujji), is finishing its regular shoot. “We are in the last leg of shooting,” producer Bujji sadi. The film introduces Kishore Pardhasani (Dolly) as the director and has Tamanna as the heroine. Siddardh’s screen-father Prakash Raj does the same role again. The film unit met the media ay Scarlet pub (near Jubilee Hills check post) on Tuesday afternoon (November 25, 2008) to reveal the progress of the movie.
Siddhardh
Siddardh looked dashing with his new look. He is also happy to meet the media after a huge gap. “My fans have been waiting another movie like Bommarillu as it had huge impact on them. I believe this flick – Konchem Istam Konchem Kastam (KIKK) – has the potential to cross Bommarillu. The movie falls in the romantic genre. But these days, the romantic movies are not seen like it used to have. Too much of commercial stress is being put on the movies. But KIKK is a sincere movie with right proportions of commercial elements,” Siddardh said about the movie.
He also lauded producer and director. “Bujji has made many successful films. But he started this flick to make a great movie. I hope this movie becomes success for his efforts, and the director’s sincerity and our teamwork. This movie is going to be eighth release. Of eight movies, half of them are directed by debutants and they have been lucky to me. So, I am sure director Kishore’s work too would make wonders for me.,” he added.
“We have roped in Bollywood top music trio Shankar – Ehsaan - Loy for composing songs. They felt so happy with the outcome of the movie. Regarding Prakash Raj, he is like my father on screen. This is the third time that we are teamed up as father and son. Personally, he is a good friend to me. The interesting part is that when I never once felt during the shooting of this movie that he is repeating the same act like he did in Bommarillu or NVNV. Such a brilliant actor he is,” he said.
Prakash Raj
Prakash Raj praised the director for his brilliant script. “The movie can be watched by all the family audiences. This is very sensible and responsible cinema. A new kind of themes are emerging in Telugu cinema and I am to be part of them.”
The film is gearing up for Sankranthi release.
