of course, he would test his luck as lead hero but that doesn't mean that he wouldn't do comedy roles. also, most of the comedy roles in today's movies don't have strong characterization.

It is difficult to watch him as a full length hero given his looks. He may test waters with 4 or 5 movies as hero & may endup back as comedian. Samething happened to Ali & brahmi & avs before

He has better acting skills than many of the current crop of heroes

Kindly don't leave comedy films.you do simultaneously comedy films and hero.See ali had did simultaneously both films.

Do not quit Comedy movies. They will make you stay in the industry for long time not hero roles.

Sunil himself said that his bread and butter is in comedy/character roles. There is nothing with him trying his luck though. Heroes have better fan following, earn more money and of course, earn more luxuries as actors. How many comedian actors doing you see enjoying celebrity treatment?

Sunil is a far better actor than most stars of today, his range is great. His dancing is on par with the best in the industry. Good for him. Though luck is a great factor in this industry, to survive without a godfather is not easy. Kudos to Sunil.
