Tolly2Holly, leading overseas distributor of Telugu films, threw a grand bash for NRIs who came to India to support megastar Chiranjeevi on his political entry. Inspired by Chiru’s speech on Sunday, the party was arranged on Monday evening (Aug 18,2008) at HICC in Hyderabad. Pawan Kalyan who normally shies away from such dinner parties attended it and what’s more he freely interacted with the guests. He also made an interesting speech. Allu Aravind and Dr Mitra (political advisor to Chiru) also graced the event. Most of the guests were from USA and UK.
Human rights are important: Pawan
“I have always been great admirer of Martin Luther King and his ideology inspired me. He said that whatever we do, we should strive for upholding the basic human rights. I am sure that Annayya is one person whose leadership does this. Even before entering into films, I have had dreams of doing social service and serve for my country. I looked for a leader who would instill confidence in me that I could follow him in helping the society and work for him. I found none until brother came. He is sensitive person and knows the common man’s problems,” Pawan Kalyan said.
‘Caste should not be brought into’
He also asked NRIs and fans not to mingle caste with Chiru’s party. “Irrespective of caste and creed, we should work for the better society. Don’t mingle individual’s caste with party,” he advised.
