Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy is credited to be the first freedom fighter in India as he revolted 10 years earlier than the Sepoy Rebellion of 1857. He was born at uyyalawada of present Kurnool district in Andhra Pradesh. Now, director Jayanth C Paranji is filming this great rebellions life on silver screen. Nandamuri Balakrishna will be enacting his role. Jayanth, who directed two films with Balayya including the super hit, Lakshmi Narasinha, would also be producing this period epic. It is said that Balakrishna in principle agreed to do the movie immediately after he completes his current flick, Simha.
Megastar Chiranjeevi too wanted to act as Uyyalawada Narasinha Reddy before he entered into political arena but could not do so. Balayya has finally grabbed the role that was prepared for film by Parachuri Brothers. More details are awaited.
