i thought adurs might have cost 30-35 crores to make , given the fact it took 2 yrs & had rich locales.
balayya did it again after ssr & nsn, but it is getting monotonous and boring. doing movie with dasari after the way he shaped up young india is like a suicide.
not so good 2 yrs for venky -- both his movies are average/ flop.
ushakiran getting some money after yrs of flops is good.

Question to the author: What is the concept of a hit movie? If you look at the numbers here, none of the movies have a margin of more than 15-20 crores. Does this margin exclude the rentals, taxes etc? I heard that '3 idiots' was made for 28 crores and made 280 crores. How come the budgets of telugu cinema are so close to the Hindi movies but the returns so low?

the minus points of the review are for ye maaya chesavo, betting bangarraju.

YMC producers got more than 10 crores of profit. It's budget is not 10 c but 14 c. it's overall collections are nearly 25 c. ( TC can check it again ).

regarding betting bangarraju, this is the real blockbuster of the year in terms of collecting huge profits to the producers. ( this film has shown more than 15 c profit to the producer and after this film huge success, allari naresh is demanding 2 c plus per film. he is the hot topic of the industry now).

no doubt, simha is a stupendous hit, but, in terms of its budget, i feel BBR is the more profitable film to the producers. ( no blockbuster movie producer wish to celebrate his movies success without the star fans. hope, simha producer is now a days getting nil collections, due to which he was not interested to spend much on functions. )
