Muhuratham mania!

Auspicious muhurtham is important for any film to commence its shooting. It is common practice in Tollywood. As auspicious dates are ending by this weekend, there is mad rush in Tollywood to conduct formal poojas of several underproductions. In a just week, about 10 films were launched silently.
Venky's films
Venkatesh’s new film, to be directed by Amma Rajashekar, too had its pooja on Sunday (June 14th) without much fanfare. Bujji will produce the film and Suresh Productions while Kona Venkat is providing the script. On the other hand, Venkatesh will begin his work for Srinu Vytla’s film,
Namo Venkatesha, from June 18th.
Pravarkyudu
Jagapathi Babu’s new film,
Pravarkyudu, being directed by Madan, had begun its shooting today (Monday, June 15, 2009). The film had its formal pooja at the producer’s (Tolly2Holly) office in Banjarahills in Hyderabad. The regular shoot has also commenced. It stars Priyamani as the female lead. Director Madan, music director M M Keeravani and others attended the pooja ceremony.
Nag's movie
It is said that Nagarjuna’s new film will also have its pooja in a couple of days. He is acting in a new film for producer D Shiva Prasad Reddy that will be directed by newcomer.
