It's not Sumanth but it is Mohanakrishna who is taking risk by casting Sumanth as hero. Mohanakrishna needs performance from his actors but that's what Sumanth is lacking.

Sumanth's family spent crores of ruppees on him to promote him as hero, still this useless fellow couldn't sustain.

"The Men Within" is possibly India's first cricket novel in English. It is a story of an old-glory school, the Golconda Public School (GPS), its principled Principal Vishwanath Sharma, a passionate coach Sampath who's also an alumnus of the school, a disinterested but worthy bunch of cricketers and an impossible dream.

Vishwanath Sharma, the principal of the school has been recalled from retirement to save Golconda Public School from slipping deeper into the morass and to bring it back to its past glory. To do that, he has to stop a scheming group of individuals on the GPS board of trustees from cannibalizing the school premises: they are eyeing the school grounds to set up a coaching centre and will stop at nothing because 'after all, the grounds are not being used anyway'.

Vishwanath Sharma gambles on his old student and an ex-GPS cricket captain Sampath as the cricket coach. Sampath is controversial, strong willed and disciplinarian; his wards are adamant, indisciplined and wayward - will they ever get together to fulfill the Principal's dream?

How Sampath uses every conventional and unconventional trick in the book to bring the best out of the GPS boys is what the book is all about. But will their best be enough to match the big guns like Everglade School cricket team? Will Sampath find his redemption? And will Vishwanath Sharma outwit his opponents?

Read 'The Men Within' to find out more.

Plot looks great on the lines of Chek de India. But I can't imagine Sumanth in any of the roles mentioned in the plot. It will be a joke if he is selected for the role of Sampath.

One talented director Chandrasekhar Yeleti disappeared because of Manoj. Hope Sumanth doesn't do the magical act with Indraganti.

Why are so many people against the poor guy Sumanth? He is a very decent actor, much better than the other B movie stars like Jagapathi Babu, Nitin etc. He has a clear diction and he is intense but subtle in his acting. Infact, I even feel he is a better actor than his own super star uncle, Nag. It is true that he is not very good looking and has never been very successful in his career, but I think he will definitely suit the kind of movies that directors like Indraganti makes. Let us wish him good lucj

@Ram Pyare,

Annayya, exactly that's my problem. Oka vedhavani inkoka vedhavato compare chesi veede better ani decide ayye kharma pattindi manaki.

Tollywood mafia is solely responsible for this. They don't know how to act and they don't encourage talent. Forget about encouraging, they will make sure that talented guys are kicked out of the industry.

Too bad for Telugu cinema!!
