Balakrishna meets Lakshmi Parvathi
Mar 10, 2010 - 2:56:35 AM

Nandamuri Balakrishna surprised one and all in the film industry, political circles and the public as he paid a visit to the widow of NT Rama Rao at her residence in Hyderabad.

Lakshmi Parvathi, speaking to the media, termed Balakrishna, as a philosopher. I am happy that Balakrishna came to my house. He asked me to champion the objectives of late NTR. He sought me to come to his house. My joy knows no bounds that Balayya Babu called me Amma. No subject of political and financial importance came for discussion between us, she said, with tears trickling down her cheeks.

Balakrishna said that there was nothing special in his paying a visit to Lakshmi Parvati. He termed her as my mother. The differences between were over. We are all one. I came to my mother to share the love and affection. In future, we will jointly fight for realizing the dreams of NTR for the poor and downtrodden.

It may be noted here that a couple of years ago, the two had a bitter legal battle over the rights on the NTR Memorial Trust. Balakrishna sought the removal of Lakshmi Parvathi from the panel of the trust, while the latter insisted that she held the genuine right as the wife of NTR.
