Music director Chakri has been providing a helping hand to the needy for many years. Last year, on the occasion of his birthday, he had done charity work and conducted a musical show for blind children. This year too he is planning several charity programmes on June 15th, his birthday.
Chakri told the media today (Monday, May 28th) that he is going to held a blood donation camp on his birthday inspired by Chiranjeevi. “At our village in Warangal district, on that day a blood donation camp is to be conducted. And in Hyderabad, I am doing a musical show and the money that is generated from this is to be given away to an NGO, Swechcha,” he informed the media.
Chakri is also happy the way his career is progressing. “In 2006, Devadasu was my biggest musical blockbuster. In 2007, it is even more fruitful one with my two films Dhee and Desamuduru turned out to be blockbusters. Counting Bhagyalakshmi Bumper Draw, it is an hat-trick for me,” Chakri happily said.
