Megastar Chiranjeevi admitted today (Thursday, Oct 30) that Telangana people made him megastar from a mere movie star. �All my films had great patronage in all the regions of our state but Telangana (Nizam) has been my bastion. I had great records in the region and I know the heart beat of Telangana people who are striving for self respect,� he said in his maiden political road show in the region.

It should be noted Chiranjeevi was the first hero in Tollywood to take the rights of Nizam area as part of remuneration. After him, other stars like Nagarjuna followed the suit.
