Samajwadi Party general secretary Amar Singh, MPs Jaya Bachchan and Jayaprada will meet Chiranjeevi at his office on Sunday. Chiranjeevi agreed to meet them following a request by Amar Singh. It is learnt that Amar Singh wants an allaince with Chiru's Prajarajyam party. But Chiru camp says it is only a ‘courtesy call’.

The meeting assumes significance in the wake of Telugu Desam president N. Chandrababu Naidu’s recent announcement that stars from the Nandamuri clan including Balakrishna, Harikrishna, NTR (Junior) and Kalyanram would campaign for TDP candidates in the general elections of 2009.
