Why 'Gamyam' missed Indian Panorama?
Oct 29, 2008 - 4:45:08 AM

Gamyam was one of the films that considered for Indian Entry for Oscars but the film could not make it to Indian Panorama. Sounds funny, right!? Headed by Telugu film director K.N.T. Sastry (Of Thiladanam fame), the Jury at Indian Panorma felt that only Mee Sreyobhilashi was the best among Telugu films this year to be screened at IFFI, Goa in December. Yet, Gamyam was not chosen for it.

Though Mee Sreyobhilashi is a good film, some say that the film is selected because of its producer C.C. Reddy, who is a relative of Chief Minister Y.S. Rajashekar Reddy.
