Mumait Khan owes all her success to director Puri Jagannadh. He gave her first break with the hugely popular item song “Ippatikinka Naa Vayasu Ninda Padhare..” in Pokiri. Although she has played as leading actress in several films, she has not yet tasted the success as she does as item bomb. Now, Puri is going to give her break as actress too. He has cast her in his next film titled Moodu Kothulu (Three Monkeys) starring his brother Sairam Shankar as the lead hero.
There will be another new actress to be cast opposite Sairam but Mumait has equal role to play as the second female lead. The movie, a small budgeted film, will center on the three naughty characters.
Currently, Puri is finishing his film with Ravi Teja and soon after this he will begin 3 Kothulu.
Other commitments of Puri
1. A film with Pawan Kalyan. It might start in summer 2009.
2. Another movie with Mahesh Babu for producer Soundarya Rajnikant.
