Prakash Raj was so impressed with Rana’s film Leader that he held meet with the media at Ramanaidu Studios to share his “joy” on watching the film. “The film is a big inspiration in my life. I did not call the press even when I got the national awards. Though I did not act in this film, I thought of expressing my feelings with the audience and the media. Several times, I felt sick that there were no films in Telugu that would compete for the national awards. But after watching the Leader, I am satisfied that my dream would come true soon.”

“I acted in a good number of films. With my hoary experience as an actor, I felt that there is a lot of integrity in Leader. Sekhar Kammula unfolded a mighty subject. He displayed the honest which I felt in the Bollywood flick – Three Idiots. A political leader told me that the film exposed the secrets of the political profession stark naked. I feel that it is time for all the politicians to watch Leader and make a self-retrospection of them. This would remind us of the ugly situations around us. I also found that there is a lot of commitment on all the artistes in Leader. I really felt that I missed this film as I couldn’t act in it.”

“Rana too entered with a bang. Unlike the regular heroes, he exhibited the rare quality of variety in his characterization. I sincerely request the audience to compulsorily watch this film. If you patronize these kind of films, there is possibility that more and more films like Leader would come in future.”
