Ram Gopal Varma is bounced back with his black magic thriller - Phoonk. The same story is remade in Telugu as Raksha with Jagapathi Babu and Kalyani in the lead roles but the Telugu version is not directed by Ram Gopal Varma. Vamsi Akella, former associate of senior director Vamsy, is making debut with this thriller. Although it is remake of Phoonk, the Telugu version is completely different from the original; it is going to be more scarier than the Hindi version.

The movie is hitting the screens on September 19th. Jagapathi Babu's recent film, Homam, has taken good start at B.O. Will Raksha do the real magic to Jagapathi Babu's career?
