Soup/Starters:
After a break, Venkat comes up with this film on his home banner. He showed good confidence prior to its release. Right from the title this film could create some interest that it would have something to look for.
It gives good title justification and is really konchem kottagaa but chala koratagaa.
The film is all about a house. Tulip feels that she is alone in the house. But she doesn't know about Venkat's presence. He also doesn't know that Tulip is in the same house. It is definitely an interesting plot, to showcase them spending time in the house without knowing that there is another person in the house. Added to this murder mystery gave enough kick to the plot. As far as the story is concerned it is an innovative thriller. But missed out many elements in retaining the interest levels of the audience.
Spicy Items:
-- The story is the main strength of the film. It is a novel idea. Anand should be commended for coming up with a different story. First half showed a great difference to normal films. It is devoid of dialogues.
-- The interval block is very good.
-- Ali's reason of stepping into the house is apt. Tulip's reason of staying in the house is a very good thought but a bit unconvincing.
-- The ideas used to create interest in the audience and in establishing the plot are good.
Eg: When Tulip and Venkat enter into the same room and come out with out any surprise, surprises audience.
-- Editing is good.
-- There are many interesting camera angles which are much needed for a thriller.
-- Tulip Joshi is cute and cool in her role. She deserves much better stand in the industry. This film might help TULIP, TO LEAP in her career.
-- Back ground score is good at parts.
