Sashirekha Parinayam is the title chosen for maverick director Krishnavamsi’s current film. At a press meet held in Vijayawada town on Monday (October 6, 2008), Krishnavamsi informed the media that the title was selected after much brainstorming. “Sashirekha Parinayam is suited best for our script,” he said. He also added that the title is nothing to do with the 'mythology'. "We are planning to release the music on November 1," he informed. 

The film’s lead pair Tarun and Genelia unveiled the title’s logo at the ceremony held at Manya Showroom in Vijayawada. The film is produced by Sunkara Madhumurali on Karthikeya Creations banner and has music by Manisharma.
