Tollywood bigwigs, Film Chamber of Commerce, and Movie Artiste Association together strongly condemned producer Kodali Naani’s comments and termed them as his personal opinions. Producer Suresh Babu said Tollywood has nothing to do with the political situation in Andhra Pradesh. “We are not a party to any movement. We are here to entertain the Telugu people irrespective of where they reside. As a producer we want all Telugu people from Telangana, Rayalaseema, Andhra, Bangalore, Chennai and Overseas watch our movies. That is our concern. We are not pro nor against to any movement in the state,” he stated.
He also said that all the political parties including TRS and JAC agreed to our demand of not stopping any film and we thanked for their support. “Naani’s comments are unwarranted and they are completely his personal statements,” MAA president Murali Mohan said.
Tammareddy Bharadwaja lamented Naani for spoiling the peaceful situation and urged the industry biggies to take action against him.
