Akkineni got several hits. But he doesn't have mass following as NTR.
Akkineni movies couldn't collect as NTR's.
Nag, Venky's movies can't collect as Chiru's.
Kamal's movies can't collect as Rajani's.
Rajesh Khanna's are not great as Amithab's.
There is a clear cut line between class and mass.
Go talk to the front benches about Nag, venky, Chiru and Rajani.
You will know the differnce.
Certainly this film won't be as super as 'Robo'

Good combination! We all should encourage this new trend.

Hello Isha Naidu,

Shiva is a mass oriented film,
Bobbili Raja is also a mass entertainer.
Even the rest of the movies.
Any block buster must have a mass hero or mass elements.
But with Kamal and Venky this is not possible.
Also the title suggests that it is a pukka class oriented film unlike Shivaji or Robo. Just like Dasavatharam.

Venkatesh needs to be careful about his role length-wise and duration-wise considering the fact that Kamal Haasan is the main hero and the director of the movie. Hope Venkatesh does not eventually end up with an insignificant and unimportant role. Even before the shooting of the first scene, too much hype is being attached to the movie. Perhaps, Kamal Haasan should remember about his movie Maruda Nayagam.

it's a rare combination

Kamal is a great actor, but is notorious for cutting short the roles of his male co-stars without caring for the image of those stars. Ex: Look at the deglamorized bit role done by Sharukh in Hey Ram. Look at the ugly looking junior artiste who played his wife. Look at a young and agile Arjun (fresh from the success of Gentleman) pairing with a visibly older Geetha and playing the father of a grown up child in Drohi (any one remember this movie?).
Venky should be really careful.

There is a myth that Kamal is a class actor. I am a telugu guy living in Chennai and I can certainly tell that Kamal Mass is very Big...Just go to a place called Madurai in South Tamil Nadu and U know what I am talking about. U cant expect Kamal to have fan
clubs in AP. The fact that Kamal is giving hits in AP that too after 32 years of his Blockbuster Maro Charitra is a tribute to his greateness and genius,.....

hey this is a greater combination ever in indian cinema this will create new records because of Victory venkatesh the Top hero of Tollywood industry..............kamalhaasan character should be less other wise their will be big fight in the fans..................
