Why are you elevating vishal strature in Telugu. While he is not even a top level hero in tamil itself. Yes he is only league 3 hero in Tamil.

In telugu we have many better actors then vishal. Why cant you elevate them.

I seen some of vishals movies. He cannot do comeedy on his own. dances on his own. he needs someone help. All he can do is some big fights. Even gopichand in telugu can do even better emotional fights in telugu.

Just because he has six packs we dont need to fall after him.

P.S. If vishal laughs full mouth open he looks like a devil and he is a souths bighero. Even god cant make us (teluguites) realises our value.

My article is understood as telugus vs tamils. but my inherent intention is: Does any tamil media supports our heroes. Their media put down our movies as crap. i stayed in tamil nadu for many years and i know how they care for our industry. Does we really make so worst films and as if they make the hollywood flicks. We telugu people respect their movies and their artists but they dont respect ours.

Now coming to vishals flick: "is he by any means matches the charisma of mahesh babu or ntr of telugu industry"? Does vishal posesses any talent equivalent to ntr? Then why does his new film releases with 700 prints where as mahesh babu's film will not even cross 500 prints!!! This is because his crap movies are even watched by our audiences as well. Which elevates his movie. And even after all these, their media don't appreciate our audience and they put it as Telugu audience will watch only dubbing movies.

The fact of the matter is we telugu audience appreciate the variety of films. And there our pride lies in. This is where we need to respected.

I am only fighting for our self respect and our unique pride.

I am open to anyone challenging my argumnet.

Nowadays if you observe carefully, the number of prints for a movie is decided not just by the hero but by other factors too.

1. Hero ( he decides the range)
2. Director
3. Film's Genre
4. Hype created by the producers
5. Hero's Previous recent record
6. Director's Previous recent record
7. Music's Hit range
8. Other casts


Now if you observe, Salute scores a big hit with point 1 ( hero's 6 pack abs) and point 3 (police story intersts anybody from kid to elder people), point 7 (music is a big hit) and point 8 ( nayantara, thotta tharani, harris jeyaraj, RD Rajasekar - all A level technicians of tamil industry).

Also 700 prints include only about 300 prints in telugu and the remaining 400 prints are for tamil version, where is a fast emerging hero.

I can see and understand ur fustration over tamil movies ,people here are saying that they don't encourage telugu movies ,well my first question is does hindi audience watch telugu movies and encourage telugu heroes ,but u people(telugu) watch hindi movies such as SRK,Amir etc movies .But when comes to tamil movies everyone jumps and scolds ,y don't u guys say the same thing about hindi?they also release it in andhra.

if tamil is made as national language. bengali people might say y tamil y not bengali. so one has to compramise. and hindi is spoken large number of indians thats y it has been made as official national language. if i say hindi is our national language means did i mean that i don't like telugu.
