Sri: Hearsay is that Srinu Vytla changes scenes on the sets!

Kona Venkat
: He does, yes, but not without my knowledge! He discusses with me beforehand, and though he changes, he makes sure that the basic thread does not change and that it has a link to other scenes in the film.

Sri: Don't you think that a film needs to go to the sets with a bound script ?

Kona Venkat:
Though everyone says that, not many follow that. Sometimes, we change the scene for betterment and with experienced artistes like Brahmanandam, etc. there will always be some last-minute changes because they always improvise their scene instantly with their comic timing.

Sri: Why did you opt for direction when you were a successful writer already?

Kona Venkat:
Sometimes, you feel that you can express in a different way when you see the outcome on the screen. I thought in the same way too, and wanted to direct myself. That's how the Madhavan-Sada film titled Adi Oka Idile... started.

Sri: Why is it getting so delayed?

Kona Venkat: The producer went cold feet as he started two films at the same time, and he backed off in the middle! At present, the film is almost ready, with only three days of shoot remaining. Once it's over, we'll release the audio and we plan to release it soon. TeluguCinema.Com wishes the successful writer all the best and best of luck with his directorial debut.
