Uday Kiran turns a year on June 26th. This birthday he is celebrating it with a jolly mood, as he believes that his forthcoming Gunde Jallmundi will change his career and put him on the success track again. He looks radiant and handsome now. Stress and pressure to deliver a hit seems to have gone off. Relaxed in his new home in a beautiful locale in Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad, Uday Kiran talks to TC.com..

You look handsome again!

Thanks. I am that people are finding me again handsome. I was criticized for my looks in the last two years. I am firm believer what is in your mind reflects on face. The turbulent phase that I went through and the kind of movies that I did brought worry. Now, I am relaxed with Gunde Jallumandi, my next release. It has come out so well that my happiness is unbound.

Does moving to new house helped you?

Yes. I have moved into this few months ago. It has really brought me luck.

Who do you blame for your failures..

None. I take the responsibility wholly for everything.

Do you regret accepting awful films like Viyyalavari Kayyalu?

I regret the outcome of it..I mean the result.

Will Gunde Jallumandi bring back the lost glory?

I am so sure that the film would fetch me a big hit. It is such a fresh love story that everyone will enjoy wholeheartedly. There is no unnecessary melodrama and mush.  Director Madan made it with refreshing scenes, mellifluous music and superb entertainment. Madan is fantastic writer and you feel his prowess on the screen.

Tell us about Madan..

He is amazing director. I saw Pellaina Kottalo, and loved his narrative skills. You will see his another facet in this movie. We became good friends as we have bonded so well during this one year.

Did you ever fell in love?

(Ha..Ha). Off screen, not really. In fact, when I was shooting for some romantic scenes for Gunde Jallumandi, I wished I should have fallen in love so that I could have brought the emotions in more depth. Eagerly waiting for a girl who could skip my heart beat.

Forthcoming films..

After Gunde Jallumandi, my next release would be Ekaloveyudu, which introduces a talented new director KRK. It has nice story like Gunde Jallumandi. I hope to bounce back with these.
