Kantarao Garu will be remembered for ever as "Narada" role he played in many mythological films ( Remember Srikrishna tulabharam where Narada role is vital)!, apart from his role as the adventurous prince in Janapada Films. His films Directed by Vithalacharya ( Guruvunu Minchina sishyudu, Chikkadu, dorakadu etc) were packets of clean and wholesome entertainment. He acted as parallell hero in many films with NTR ( Raktha Sambandham, Chikkadu- Dorakadu,ekaveera, bheeshma,dorikite dongalu) ANR ( Bhale Ramudu, shanthinivasam) . He also played the role of Lord krishna in mythological films when NTR played other important role in the same film ( ex. Narthanasala, Pandava Vanavasamu, Prameelarjuneeyamu,etc) . He also acted as villain in some films ( Sahasa Vanthudu, Devudu chesina Manushulu, etc) .

HMm...great hero..legend...he is far better than ANR...but people dominated him..Ap Govt has given lands to NTR,ANR..so many actors even for artist Nirmalamma except for kantarao..where is justice?..he stayed in renthouse in nallakunta...Govt didnt give at-least 100 sq.yards land to him..but other actors gt hundreds of acres..he is from telangana rt..while he was facing financial problems for treatment nobody helped him..where was the great legendry ANR who is having some thousands of crores now..
