Wish telugu cinema fans recognized the true greats, like Veturi.

he was a great writer that the telugu movie field would have ever had.

he will still be alive with us in all those great songs he had written.
There were so many songs for which I looked back at the writer's name and found that it was veturi.

May his soul rest in peace.

when people die, it is a custom to say tollywood lost a great man eventhough that person is not associated with the field for more than 1 or 2 decades.
but veturi garu is one who is currently active & even maniratnam comes to him now. this is a real loss to tollywood.he is one of 4 poles of yesteryears tollywood, athreya, sinare ,sri sri being others[arudra garu too].i think we lost most of them.
veturi garu can be called padha brahma. there is no person in ap who didn't enjoy tirupathi laddu & veturi gari's songs.
when we try to talk to others , we search for words,we mumble. how can someone come up with lyrics that can be leaving an impression on people's minds for decades? he is real son of GODDESS SARASWATHI.
i feel ashamed to pay my condolences to him because the words i am using to pay my condolences are not even close to small words in his lyric.

Veturi garu is too great to be described with words. Since the emergence of talkie era, Telugu film field has seen Many Lyricists who are great in their own way in their own style eg Malladi Ramakrishna shastri, Pingali nagendra rao, senior Samudrala, Dr.C.Narayana Reddy, Kosaraju ,Devulapalli Krishna shastri,garu Atreya , Arudra, Dasarathi, to name a few.

Kosaraju garu specialized in Folk songs , Atreya Garu on emotional as well as romantic songs with equal ease. Devulapalli Krishna sastri garu gave many bhava geethalu which were also used in many films.
There is a gradual change in the style of lyrics from time to time.

� Nee illu bangarm ganu � etc in �Gajadonga� or Naatu kottudu veera kottudu danchi kottudu daddarille chanti pilladu palakochade�
Telugu audience have accepted all types of songs .
Veturigaru was a 100% professional lyricist as he always catered to the requirements of the producer & Director . He wrote with equal dexterity to the films of classy K.vishwanath garu and Jandhyala garu as well as a commercial directors like K.Raghavendra rao garu.
Even the songs he wrote for commercial films, high lyrical values reflected . for Example
