Hey Hey ILU
Nowadays, youngsters are showcasing love through different forms of social media and the music composer Sharath nicely uses the technology to compose this techno number. The lyrics are youthful and the various sounds of what’s app and other mediums of message delivery are nicely used in the song along with Tippu’s singing. The track is quite rhythmic and will click with the trendy visuals on screen.
Nijama Nijama
Romantic ballads are a must in every album and Na Nuvve has one such song which goes with the lyrics “Nijama Nijama”. What takes the cake is MM Manasi’s beautiful rendition as she makes this song her own and gives her best. The lyrics are meaningful but songs like these will only impress you over the second or third listening and the same is with this song.
Right Right
Tippu gets yet another chance to croon for a youthful number in this film. His voice is energetic in the song but the tune and orchestration are very ordinary. This is a kind of a song which can be fast-forwarded when you listen to it. Only the interesting visuals can help this song.
Chiniki Chiniki
This song has already caught on well as the teasers showcase amazing chemistry between Tamanna and Kalyan Ram. The mood of the song is romantic and Sharath does equal justice by making the song sound simple and neat. The soothing effect in the song is pleasant to your ears as this song clicks well because of the experienced singing of Karthick.
Premika
This haunting number has been used quite effectively in the teasers. The moment you listen to it fully, the song impresses you at once as the high pitch voice of Sarath suits the mood of the song well. The lyrics are kept so meaningful that there is a sweet pain in the song which makes it one of the best in the album.
Na Nuvve
Musician Sharath saves his best to the end for the title song which is the best in Kalyan Ram’s career. The song is a slow piano based romantic cover version which showcases what Na Nuvve is all about. Right from the singing to the lyrics this song is a winner.
Bottom Line: ‘Na Nuvve’ is Kalyan Ram’s first romantic film in his career and we can say that the makers have managed to strike a chord as musician Sharath has given nice romantic tunes. Three songs “Na Nuvve”, “Premika and “Chiniki Chinika” nicely set the mood of the album upbeat and the rest of the songs are ordinary. These numbers will grow on you slowly and a lot will depend on the visuals of the film for this album to click even more after the film releases.
