This year, Deepavali falls on October 24. Hence, the producers are targeting the preceding weekend for the release.

Ori Devuda
Vishwak Sen and Bollywood actress Mithila Palkar in her Telugu debut paired up together in this rom-com. The film is an official remake of a Tamil movie. PVP Cinema is bankrolling it. The trailer is interesting. Venkatesh playing a guest role has added another attraction. The film is scheduled to hit the theaters on October 21.
Ginna
Manchu Vishnu, Sunny Leone, and Payal Rajput star in this film directed by newcomer Suryaah. Touted to be a horror comedy, ‘Ginna’ was supposed to release for Dasara but got postponed to October 21st.
Prince
Tamil actor Sivakartikeyan has played the lead in ‘Prince’. Though the makers claim it is a Telugu-Tamil bilingual, it is more of a dubbed movie. ‘Jathi Ratnalu’ fame Anudeep is the director. The trailer has failed to create any hype. It may have an advantage in Tamilnadu over the Telugu states.
Sardar
Karthi starrer ‘Sardar’ is a spy thriller. He plays a spy and dons many avatars. The teaser is quite interesting. The film confirmed its release date as October 21st.
