AR Rahman gets notice from High Court

Now, AR Rahman lands in trouble. The Oscar-winning music composer is facing notices in an income tax evasion case. Madras High court today issued a notice to Rahman the IT department’s appeal.

The income tax department stated that the music composer had evaded tax by transferring his remuneration to his charitable trust. The sum is Rs 3.42 crore. This case has been going on for a long and now HC issued notices to him.

Rahman is one of the highest-paid musicians in the Indian film industry.
