Tyson plays a guest role in the film. No wonder that Disney group has bagged the film’s digital and satellite rights for an amount of Rs 65 crore. The rights of the movie’s all language versions are with the Disney group.

This is a record amount for a Vijay Deverakonda starrer. The movie has nearly recovered its budget. Scheduled to hit the screens on August 25th, ‘Liger’ is Puri Jagannadh’s maiden pan-Indian project. Karan Johar, Charmee, and Puri are bankrolling the project. The film will do record theatrical business in Vijay Deverakonda’s career.

‘Liger’ has established the fact that Vijay Deverakonda has a market of more than Rs 100 crore (theatrical, satellite, digital) if he teams up with popular filmmakers. No other mid-range Telugu hero has done such business so far.
