‘Drushyam 2’, the sequel to super hit ‘Drushyam’, is gearing up for release. Directed by Jeethu Joseph and produced jointly by D Suresh Babu, Antony Perumbavoor, and Rajkumar Sethupathi, the thriller sees Venkatesh, and Meena reprising the same roles they had done in the first part.
The film has completed censor formalities. ‘Drushyam 2’ received a U certificate. Sampath Raj and Poorna are the new addition to the ensemble cast.
The film’s direct-OTT rights were already snapped up by Disney+Hotstar. However, the makers may opt for a theatrical window if the situation is conducive for such release. A final call will be taken shortly. It is most likely will have a Disney+Hotstar premiere.
‘Drushyam 2’ also has Nadhiya, Naresh, Kruthika, and Esther Anil in the main roles.
